Personal & Physical Hobbies
Family: Many family activities occur including dinners, parties, family events, outdoor trips, and vactions.
Hiking: This includes summitting smaller peaks in the Oregon and Washington Cascades and coast ranges for Summits on the Air (SOTA). I am an amateur radio operator, N7PMB.
Ham Operator: As a ham radio operator (N7PMB: https://www.qrz.com/db/N7PMB). I regularly jump on the airways to make contacts with local ham operators throughout the US and those around the world (UK, DK, Spain, Italy, Argentina, New Zealand, Japan, among others).
Skiing: I enjoy both downhill and cross country skiing with family and friends.
Fishing: I get out to fish as much as possible for both bank fishing and waterway fishing in local fisheries.
Shop: I do unique woodworking and leatherwork making hardwood handles and sheaths for various tools.
Spiritual
Active parishioner in our local faith community.
Belong to the Knights of Columbus men’s church group. Focus on brotherhood, unity, charity, and patriotism.
Bible reading and studies. Reading scriptures and attending Bible studies forms an important part of my spiritual life.
Mental and Emotional Health
Reading and enjoying good storytelling forms an important mental reset activity. I especially enjoy good science fiction.
I often seek coaching from a life coach and counseling from therapist to better handle the events in life.
Writing short stories and occassionally blog article allows me to explore ideas, events, and challenging situations.
Professional
Currently, I am a counselor in training at Grand Canyon Univsity in the Master of Science of Clinical Mental Health and Counseling program.
ACA. I have registered with American Counselor Association.
ORCA: ACA’s local affiliate in Oregon.
